At Time IV Change we’re dedicated to maintaining a low carbon footprint without compromising on quality. So we take careful steps to ensure our vegan watches strike a balance between fashion and cost.
Here’s just some of the ways our watches help you make a positive vegan fashion statement:
That’s right. All Time IV Change watches are eco-friendly and ethically produced. It takes a lot of energy to produce Aluminium and steel. Which leads to more greenhouse gas emissions. So to counter this, we decided to make our watch cases from 100% recycled aluminium. Making for a happy you and a happy planet.
We've worked hard to find ways to make our watches as eco friendly and sustainable as possible and we are proud to say that every TIVC watch is produced in a factory in Hong Kong that is SA8000 certified. In simpler terms that means our team who produce our watches are treated fairly and payed fairly for their hard work.
Likewise, our vegan leather watch bands are cruelty-free and eco-friendly. They’re made from ultra-fine fibre bundles, high-grade polyurethane as well as raw and recycled materials. Which combined give the look and feel of traditional leather.
Our bands have opted to use a microfibre leather which is the highest quality grade of synthetic leather due to the use of ultra fine fibre bundles, high grade polyurethane as well as raw and recycles materials. This is how our leather is able to simulate the structure of traditional leather.
Though it has a lot of similar characteristics as natural leather, it has a better physical and environmental performance. It also meets the requests of all 168 substances in the candidate list of SVHC for authorisation and published by the European Chemicals Agency regarding related regulation concerning REACH (find out more)
Who knew pineapple leaves had a little secret? Well lucky for you, our friends at Ananas Anam did. And they decided to craft a natural and sustainable textile from these leaves called Pinatex.
Pinatex is an innovative fabric that’s the by-product of pineapple harvest. So it requires no additional water, fertilisers or land on which to grow. It’s proving to be a positive way for local farmers in the Philippines to sustain themselves and support their families.
Time IV Change are proud to be the first watch brand in the world to create beautiful Pinatex watches. And you can take a look at our Pinatex collection here
The Eco-Suede for people who respect the world in which they live in. The production process is similar to that used for paper recycling, in which no harmful chemical substances are used. The recycled polyester contained in our eco suede bands derives from polyester fibres (T-shirts, fibres, etc) and PET (bottles, plastic, etc.). Recycling polyester means reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by 80% compared to the traditional petrol-based polyester production process.
